Updated Super Swoopers! List
Today we updated the Super Swoopers! list. This new list reflects every active bidder who has won more than 25 auctions in the past six months.
We have recently been placing an emphasis on more current data to help make it more actionable for you. I also decided to list them inĀ descendingĀ order by number of wins, rather than in alphabetical order.
Edit: I reverted the list back to alphabetical order at the request of Swoopers.org members. They reasoned that with Swoopo Analytics, they can get up to date stats on every user. The Super Swoopers! list is just a quick reference tool and having usernames sorted alphabetically makes it much easier. Thanks for the feedback everyone…
If you want to find a specific username, use the search function in your browser (Control + F on PC, Command + F on Mac).
As always, Swoopo Analytics will always be the best source of real-time data on any given Swoopo auction, including the top bidders and the pros. The Super Swoopers! list is provided in addition to that powerful tool to be used as a quick reference.
Behind the Scenes…
You may have noticed Swoopers.org and SwoopoManual.com has had occasional downtime this past week. Some pages have been inaccessible to users, links have been broken and the forum has been hit or miss. SwoopoAnalytics has fortunately been unaffected – and has continued to be available for the hundreds of bidders who rely on it to bid on Swoopo.
My goal is to be able to keep the site up 100% of the time. When that doesn’t happen, I’m pretty bummed about it. I know many of you rely on it on a regular basis – and I’m sorry it hasn’t been there for you.
The reason we’ve had issues this past week is because we’re moving everything to a new server. We had so many issues in the past that we decided it was time for an upgrade. Our new server will be faster, more reliable and definitely more secure. Our hope is that the downtime we suffered this week will be made up for with reliable performance in the future.
Thanks for being cool while we work through this transition. And thanks for your emails of concern as well as support. Don’t worry folks, we’re not going anywhere!
Imitation, Flattery Etc.
Swoopo has launched a new marketing campaign called “Swoopo Naked,” complete with partially nude models to illustrate the point. This new marketing campaign is aimed to dispel any myths about “entertainment shopping” and Swoopo specifically.

Along with this marketing campaign, they rolled out a short guide on their site titled “The Swoopo Guide.” The Swoopo Guide is essentially a watered down version of the Swoopo Manual with most of the useful bits left out. They even went so far as to borrow concepts and terms that I created and have been using for over a year, such as BidButler Layering. (For those who haven’t yet read the Manual, that’s a method of placing BidButler bids that reduces the chances of losing big).
They’ve also created a new section on the site titled “Meet the Swoopers.” This is the first time I’ve ever seen Swoopo use the term Swoopers. It should be obvious, of course, that this site is named Swoopers dot org and has existed for nearly a year now.
Of course I’m not upset with Swoopo for seeking inspiration in my work – it just reinforces the impact our community has made. I just wish Swoopo would start paying me a proper consulting fee for all the groundwork we’ve done on their behalf!
Swoopo Forum
Many of my most recent posts on Swoopers dot org have been inspired from discussions we’ve had in our Members-Only Swoopo Forum. The great part about having a small group of people discussing strategy (without the distraction of letting any stranger post whatever they want) is that we get really high-quality posts and lots of great sharing back and forth about how to win on Swoopo.
Swoopers dot org members are also often the first to know about changes to Swoopo’s auction formats or rules. Here are just a few examples of stuff I’ve written after getting excellent feedback from our forum members:
If you’re interested in joining Swoopers dot org, visit the Swoopo Manual site and sign up. If you’re already a member, keep being awesome and sharing your great advice with our community and we’ll promise to do the same.
Introducing the Super Swoopers List
Today I updated the Blacklist to the latest members. I pulled off those names who are no longer active Swoopo bidders and made sure to include all those who have been big winners.
This latest list is over 150 members long and includes everyone who’s won more than 25 auctions in the past 6 months! If anyone needs proof that people can and do win time and again on Swoopo – send them to this list…
Due to feedback from members in the Swoopers dot org forum, I also included absolutely everyone. No longer can a member of our site asked to be removed from the list. This seems to be a more democratic approach. And since the data is available with Swoopo Analytics anyway – it only made sense to include it here. As a result of that change, I’ve also changed the name to the Super Swoopers list. Since this site is all about winning more Swoopo auctions – it was a silly bit of marketing to call it the “blacklist.”
As always, happy bidding.
Updated Swoopo Manual
Last week I quietly released an update to the Manual that includes new strategies to deal with recent Swoopo changes:
- Swoop It Now
- No concurrent BidButlers
- Auction price adjustments
- Bid price adjustments
When Swoopo zigs we’ll just have to continue to zag. As usual, you’ll find the updated Swoopo Manual here. And thanks to an excellent forum suggestion from one of our Swoopers members, I’ve now added “Published On” dates to the Manual so you know how current the information is.
Updated Blacklist
Thanks to the genius of my new friend Jon, who I’ve been working with over the past few weeks to develop an advanced Swoopo product…I have an updated Blacklist to share.
There are now over 100 usernames on the Blacklist.
For those who aren’t aware, the Swoopo Blacklist is a list of Swoopo bidders who have bid and won over 10 times in the past few months. In short, it’s a list of bidders to avoid on Swoopo!
As always, if you’re a Swoopers dot org member and you find your name on the list, just email me and I’ll pull you off.
P.S. I’m not yet ready to announce what Jon and I have been working on, but I think the Swoopo pros are going to love it. Make sure to stay tuned to the blog and watch for emails for me over the coming week as we get ready to launch.
Introducing: The Swoopo Strategy Community
Today is the official launch of Swoopers dot org – the Swoopo strategy community. It is here that Swoopo members can gather to discuss tips, tricks and techniques for winning BIG on Swoopo. The community is available to anyone who owns a copy of the Swoopo Manual. And it’s open not just to members of Swoopo.com, but .co.uk, .de, .es, .at and any other dots I might be missing.
If you are a Swoopo Manual owner, you should receive an email today with instructions on how to join the community and start interacting with other bidders. And if you haven’t yet purchased the Swoopo Manual, click here to learn all about it.
